This policy covers the NuMi app specifically (app.numi.org.uk). NuMi's marketing website (numi.org.uk) is a separate site and uses analytics cookies via Google Tag Manager — those are covered by the marketing website's own cookie policy, not this one. The app you're reading this in does not use Google Tag Manager or any analytics cookies.
1. What the app uses
The app uses only the essential browser storage required to keep you signed in securely. When you sign in, our authentication provider (Supabase) stores your sign-in session in your browser so that you stay signed in between visits and between pages. Without it, you would have to sign in again on every single page.
2. What the app does not use
The app sets no analytics cookies, no advertising cookies, and no tracking cookies of any kind. Nothing in the app follows your browsing across other websites, builds a marketing profile of you, or shares cookie data with advertisers.
3. Can the essential cookie be disabled?
You can block or delete cookies and site data in your browser settings at any time. Because the sign-in session is strictly necessary for the app to work, blocking it means you will not be able to stay signed in — each page will treat you as signed out. No other app functionality is affected by cookie settings, because the app sets no non-essential cookies.
